We love our community! Some of the ways we do this:
- Hold services that magnify God’s goodness and allness, and man’s unfallen nature as God’s loved child, open to all.
- Provide a Sunday School for young learners.
- Pray for the health and well-being of our community.
- Maintain a Reading Room with Bible research material for the public.
- Sell Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.
- Sell Christian Science publications– full of good ideas.
- Sell the Christian Science Monitor.
- Maintain a lending library.
- Offer periodic talks in the community on the healing power of God.
- Offer occasional concerts of lively, uplifting music.
- Have a regular “Cup of Cold Water” booth at the Orinda Fourth of July parade.
- Help support the interfaith “Winter Nights” family shelter program financially.
